The full cast for Kenneth Lonergan’s The Starry Messenger has been announced. Lonergan's wife, J. Smith-Cameron (Our Country’s Good, As Bees in Honey Drown), and Kieran Culkin (subUrbia, Igby Goes Down), Jonathan Hadary (Spamalot, Awake and Sing!), Grant Shaud (After Ashley) and Missy Yager (This is Our Youth) will join previously announced stars Matthew Broderick and Catalina Sandino Moreno. The world premiere, directed by Lonergan, begins previews at off-Broadway’s Theater Row on October 24.
The Starry Messenger follows Mark (Broderick), who teaches about the mysteries of the galaxy at the Hayden Planetarium. When the married forty-something meets a pretty, young single mother (Moreno), his "own solar system begins spinning out of control, forcing him to come to terms with the inertia that is his life."
